๐ŸŒŸWhere It All Started

OBS Worldโ€™s roots trace back to the early 2000s when Dmitrij Juvko, a passionate car enthusiast, founded a car club designed for private collectors to come together in a safe, welcoming environment. What began as a small, close-knit group soon blossomed into a global family of unique individuals, all united by their shared love for high-performance cars.

This surge of interest and enthusiasm within the community led to the organization of over 50 real-world events, including exhilarating track days and highly competitive sim racing championships. These events not only brought car enthusiasts together but also underscored the importance of preserving car culture and passing it on to future generations. With a deep understanding of the automotive market and its evolving landscape, Dmitrij and his team began laying the foundation for a new ecosystem specifically tailored for gearheads.

Reflecting on his journey, Dmitrij said:

I always dreamt about becoming a racer. For me, a car is a lot more than just an asset. It's a key to freedom, a masterpiece of engineering genius, a friend to whom you entrust your life and who brings you the joy of the experience." - Dmitrij Juvko founder of OBS World

From a young age, Dmitrij was captivated by high-performance cars. At just 18 years old, he started working at his local Porsche dealership, washing carsโ€”an experience that only deepened his fascination with these incredible machines. Through relentless dedication and hard work, Dmitrij founded multiple successful companies, each exit bringing him closer to his dream. His passion and drive enabled him to amass a personal collection of over 10 Porsches, with each car representing a milestone in his journey. For Dmitrij, cars became a school of life, teaching him invaluable lessons in precision, dedication, and the joy of continuous learning and improvement.

His early passion for racing is evident in an essay he wrote at the age of 10:

I want to be like Schumacher.

Cars are flying at high speed. They are yellow, red, and green. Brave, strong men are behind the wheel. These are racers.

It's all happening on TV. And a boy is sitting in front of the TV. It's me. I really enjoy watching the races. You have to be brave to participate. After all, the car travels at a speed of 330 km per hour. Courage is also needed. Sometimes an accident can happen and then you need a lot of patience in the treatment.

By the time I grow up, Schumacher will have retired. And I will become the new Schumacher.

Today, OBS World stands as a testament to Dmitrijโ€™s lifelong passion for cars and motorsports. Over two decades of professional automotive experience have fueled the growth of this ecosystem, enabling the team to achieve the following milestones:

  • 20+ Years of Professional Automotive Experience

  • 50+ Real-World Car Events organized, including track days and rallies across EMEA

  • 4 International Sim Racing Championships co-organized with Fordzilla and SIMSSA

  • Professional Sim Racing Academy established in Vilnius, Lithuania

Together, these achievements have transformed OBS World from a vibrant car club into a comprehensive global ecosystem for car enthusiasts. Dmitrijโ€™s vision continues to drive the evolution of this community, merging the digital and real automotive worlds in a way that honors tradition while embracing innovation.
